How to Accept Jesus Christ as Your Savior
Accepting Jesus Christ is as simple as A, B, C.
ADMIT you are sinner in need of a Savior and have a desire to turn away from your sin.
“For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23)BELIEVE that Jesus died on a cross for your sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to His rightful throne in Heaven.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)CONFESS your sin and claim Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” (Romans 10:9–10)
Sample Sinner’s Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.”
